Ask a question
How it works
Have a general question about a health topic? Email it to medarticlesbyshah@gmail.com. I'll look into it using reputable sources such as the CDC, the NHS, the WHO and the NIH, check what I find, and, if it fits the site, publish a short answer with a link to every source. I can't promise to answer every question or to say when.
What I can answer
General education questions, such as "How much sleep do teenagers need?" or "What does the CDC say about daily steps?"
What I can't answer
- Questions about your own symptoms, test results, diagnosis, medicines or doses. I'm not a medical professional, and I can't give personal medical advice. A doctor, nurse or pharmacist can.
- Anything urgent. If you or someone else may be in danger or needs urgent care, contact your local emergency services right away.
Your details
Please don't include your full name, your age or personal health details in your question. If I publish a question, I'll reword it so it can't be traced back to you, and I won't include your name or email address unless you ask me to. I use your email only to reply. See the Privacy page.
